Carrying on through thick and thin, tonight our friend Get Pony Boy Director Juan Frausto stopped by the studio with his lovely sister Rosa. Later on, the crew briefly addressed some email about the show, and then talked to Chris Stone, Author of Spliffigami. The studio was per tradition full of peaceful revelers.

Fight for your Right
Its 2009 and we finally have a black president, what took so long? Everybody is talking about how this is such a progressive move for America, but we should have elected a black president in the ’90s. I find it incredibly absurd that people are forced to fight for basic rights in this world. Blacks fought for their right eat lunch in a “white only” restaurant, to drink out of the same water fountain, to get the same education as white people. They fought for basic rights which shouldn’t be denied to anybody. I’m happy Mr. Obama is president and that America is seemingly more accepting of its citizens.
Recall a time when children had no rights, they were subject to abuse, neglect and forced into labor. No one would stand for that type of treatment for children today. Women were forced to fight for their right to use birth control and are still fighting to have abortions.
Currently many marijuana users are being denied their freedom of choice, a right denied to many in our highly moral society. Pot smokers, we must push on and persevere. Don’t lose hope because your elected officials show no concern for legalizing marijuana. Make them see this is a priority for us, show them we will not stop until new laws are put into place. If we keep fighting weed will be legal and we will finally have the right to blaze down!
