Goodbye Michael

Michael Jackson has shocked the world once more with his unexpected and untimely death. He was a cultural icon and pop music legend who inspired many of today’s top recording artists, he helped transform the music video into an art form and won 13 Grammy’s. Michael has touched many of us in one way or another; a friend of mine once enjoyed MJ’s face on her fifth birthday cake.

I remember rocking out to “Billy Jean” and “Black or White” as a young girl, I adored the King of Pop and was not fazed when he turned out to be a plastic surgery crazed weirdo. MJ could curb a puppy and I’d still think his music was fantastic. The Guinness Book of World Records named him “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time”. He made history as one of the first black artists to be featured on MTV. I will truly miss Mr. Jackson, but his catchy lyrics and upbeat rhythms shall remain in my heart forever.

Thank you Michael Jackson for gracing us with your talent and charisma, it was a wild ride, you lost many of us along the way, but your true fans saw you through. Farewell, may you continue to inspire generations from beyond.

Last night we brought the funny among other things, like Brandon’s 9 foot bong. Billy from the Nevada N Ranch came on the phone to tell us about their inspiring project. Steve Bloom came on to give us a CelebStoner update. Paul the Producer went off a little bit on Iran’s supreme leader, The Ayatollah Khamenei. We goofed on a very emotional Perez Hilton. We listened to Bruce Mirken kick butt onCNBC. Near the end DanK and Paul join one another in a sarcastic Catholic prayer.

Chief Greenbud

Tonight we activists marched through yet another episode with the intent to make you laugh, and that we did. Early on, colorful personality Chief Greenbud came on to say hello. Paul the Producer ranted with relentless vitriol about Congressman Mark Kirk. Our buddy Derek called in to tell us about the new dispensary he’s opening up in the historic land of Northern Colorado. Put an end to violence by forgetting Mexico’s schwag and smoking Colorado’s finest homegrown. From our burgeoning weed utopia, this is Marijuana Radio!

Danny Danko and David

One more night for the history books brought some stoned giggles. David from Gravity Vortex came on to pump up the huge THC EXPO in Los Angeles. Danny Danko from High Times came on to give us the Grower’s Corner scoop on guerilla growing. The studio was full of revelers enjoying pizza, pot and refreshments.
